Saturday Family Day

After all our soccer and baseball games we went to the Idaho Center in Nampa to a Boys and Girls Club Family day. The kids had a fun time riding horses, playing laser tag, climbing the rock wall and petting the animals in the petting zoo. There were also arts and crafts, a cake walk , and a reptile exhibit.

This is a sea turtle at the reptile exhibit. The kids also touched a giant python!

We had 6 out of the 11 cake walk positions and we still didn't win a cake!

Bailey did all the arts and crafts stations. Here she is frosting a sugar cookie. She also made a pet rock, a picture frame and a paper bag puppet.

This is Ryann and Lexy on the rock wall.Tren on the rock wall.

In this game the kids all had to work together to walk. They all moved their right foot at the same time, and then the left.... they did really good!

They absolutely loved the petting zoo! Here Ryann and Bailey are petting the sheep and baby goats.

Ryann, Lexy and Tren acting like animals.

Bailey and a sheep. Her favorite was this little white goat.

The kids loved this Alpaca. It was so soft and friendly!

Coopie hugging the alpaca!

All the kids and the Zebra. They couldn't pet him because he bites!

Tren and Cooper both rode the "big" horse. All the rest were miniature horses.

Ryann LOVED this little white horse! She talked about him the rest of the day. Bailey also loved riding this little horse. They all wanted to ride again, but the line was too long.

We were all exhausted at the end of the day, but we had a great time. We went straight to Wendy's and cashed in our free Frosty coupons!!

Spring-time fun

Last week there were a few days that were in the 80's. The kids came home from school and wanted to put the sprinkler under the trampoline. (They've been wanting to do this since early March when the temp. was in the 50's-60's)! So...I finally let them and they had a blast. Ryann was doing the same thing at a friend's house down the street! I can't wait for Summer. We are back in the 60's now and I want warm weather, and more sprinkler days!

Cooper the Helper

I was doing laundry last Saturday and my sweet little Cooper wanted to help fold socks! He was so cute. He folded each sock alone and made a train of socks across the bedroom floor. He was SO proud of himself. This took him quite a while, but he kept at it until all the socks were folded.

T-Rex Pack Meeting

Mark is the Cubmaster in our Ward(for the scouting program). The theme of the Pack Meeting this month was "DINOSAURS". Mark decided to build a T-Rex! He hid the individual bones around the outside of the church. Each group had clues, and had to go find the bones. Once all the bones were brought inside, they assembled the T-Rex. The boys had a blast, but I think Mark had the most fun of all!

This is "Rexy" in our driveway. It ended up being about 9' tall! It scared some small children....

The Bear Den finding a leg...

Here are all the parts ready to be assembled.

All the boys helped put Rexy together.

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter weekend full of baseball and soccer games, egg coloring, egg hunts, the Easter Bunny, and most importantly church on Sunday where we remembered our Savior and the great sacrifice he made for us. I hope my kids can always remember why we celebrate Easter and the great love our Savior has for us!

Our weekend started out on Friday night at Tren's baseball game. Papa and Grandma came to cheer on Tren. They lost, but it was close! I think Tren looks so darn cute in his baseball uniform.

Batter up...Tren is left handed, but he bats right handed...weird?

Eating sunflower seeds in the dug-out.

Tren's favorite position is first base. He is a natural being a lefty and all.

The Easter bunny came on Saturday morning. The kids were so excited. They got bunny glasses, lots of chocolate, and one toy each.

Bunny Divas!

"The" Easter Bunny!

Later that morning we went to Kuna High School for the annual Easter egg hunt. There were so many eggs.

Bailey and Cooper had a blast and were so excited....until they announced that the parents couldn't come out on the field with the kids. Bailey freaked out and started crying. She wouldn't pick up any eggs (even though I broke the rules and went out there with her)! A friend of hers gave her some eggs though. Cooper on the other hand, had his bucket filled to the top with eggs. He shared quite a few with his sissy too. By the end of the hunt, Bailey was happy!

All the kids with the bunny.

Everyone with their buckets of candy!

Later that day, we headed off to the soccer fields. Cooper and Bailey's game was first. They hustled great but still lost. Cooper scored two goals and Bailey scored one (on the opposing team's goal..oops)! They played their cousin Jesse's team, and were a little distracted.

These guys are great soccer players, and really love to play. I love it that they get to play together and have this experience with each other.

The three amigos! Bailey, Jesse, and Cooper.

Next came Ryann's game. She got to play goalie for most of the game. She did awesome! No one scored on her! She loves goalie and hopes to be able to play it more.

Ryann played offense the rest of the game and did great!

Saturday night we colored our eggs. Everyone was creative and had a good time!

A blue egg for Bailey-Moo!

Tye-dye Rye -Rye with her eggy that is dye-dyed.
Coop and Daddy with their special red and blue egg!
Tren made the darkest green egg that I have ever seen! Ever!

Sunday morning before church I made the kids take pictures in their Easter clothes. We went to church with G-ma Jody and Papa Jim. The kids liked going to their classes at a different ward. They looked so dang adorable! I just love these sweet kids!

The girls...

and boys!

After church we went to Papa Steve and G-ma Rosie's for the annual cousin egg hunt and dinner. All the cousins were there and they all had a great time. Papa Steve hides all the eggs. They have candy and Money in them! The grand prize eggs had dollar bills in them. The kids look so forward to this egg hunt, it was a good time.

Bailey hunting eggs

Ryann hiding her loot!

Bailey found an empty egg, so Mark snuck a ten dollar bill in it. When she opened it up all the cousins were like..no fair! Rosie thought that she had accidentely put it in there! Mark didn't tell her until later what he had done. We all got a pretty good laugh out of it!

Cooper was so excited to get this penny!

The cousins played basketball and baseball and had a great time being together!
