LOCKS OF LOVE

Ryann has wanted to get her hair cut short and do "Locks of Love" for a long time. Mommy has been VERY nervous and unsure of this idea. Ryann's cousin Lexy also wanted to do "Locks of Love", so we decided to go ahead and let them get all their BEAUTIFUL hair cut off!

Ryann has been so excited for the last few days in anticipation of getting her hair cut. Here she is at home before we left for the hair salon.
Ryann and Lexy one last time with their LONG beautiful hair!!

CHAMPIONSHIP Baseball game: May 30, 2009

Tren's team the Skyhawks played in the championship baseball game today. They played against Tren's best friend Braydon Pugmire's team, the Raptors. Tren's team came in 2nd place in the regular season. They lost twice to the Raptors, so we were the underdogs, but hopeful. The game started out close, but rapidly deteriorated for us. I don't remember the score, but we lost! Tren just LOVES baseball. He did a great job in this game. He played first base for most of the game, and pitched for a little while. Even though they lost, he had a great time and had a fun season of baseball.

Here are Tren and Braydon pretending to be all tough before the game.

Tren playing first base.
Catching a ball at first.

Tren went in to pitch in the middle of the game. He was pretty nervous but did great. We are proud of you Tren and how hard you work! Great job.

Getting ready to steal 2nd base.

Batter up! Tren walked his first time up at bat. The other team wasn't paying attention and so he stole 2nd before anyone noticed. He then hit a line drive to the outfield for a single, and then struck out. (oops)!

Concentrating while on third base, getting ready to steal home.

On deck!

After the game, Tren and Braydon were still friends!

Cute boys!

Here are the SKYHAWKS. Good game guys, and congratulations to the Raptors.
Good season Trenner!!!

Last day of School/ Preschool Graduation May 29, 2009

The last day of school has finally arrived and summer has begun! My kids had a great year with fabulous teachers. They truly are going to miss these great ladies. I am SO thankful for great teachers and positive influences in my kids lives. We are excited to start summer, but sad to leave our classes and teachers! This is one of the last days of school before graduation. Miss Traci has been so great! She was Ryann's teacher and then Cooper and Bailey's. She holds a special place with us and we couldn't have asked for a better teacher to start the kids education experience!
They went to Cloverdale Christian Preschool. Cooper and Bailey were lucky to get to go to school with their cousin Jesse. Here they are acting silly in front of the school sign!

They made graduation shirts with every one's hand-print on the back. Here they are getting ready to come down for the graduation ceremony.

At the ceremony they led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and we all sang God Bless America. They sang songs about the months of the year, letters, numbers, and then the big finale...KINDERGARTEN...HERE-WE-COME! No more Preschool...NO-MORE!

Here is My Bailey-Moo with her diploma!

Here is Coop-Doop getting his diploma from Miss Traci!Jesse getting his diploma!

The three big graduates!!! Yea!
The three amigos with Miss Traci.

My two big kids!

This is Ryann's teacher, Miss Brooks. We absolutely adore her. Ryann had a fabulous 1st grade year, and Miss Brooks was such a fun, enthusiastic teacher. Ryann loved to go to school everyday. We will both definitely miss Miss Brooks!!

This is Tren's teacher Mrs. Cunningham. There are not enough good words to say about her. She has turned a kid who thought school was OK, into a kid who absolutely LOVES school. She has a special gift and Tren will miss her next year!

We have been so blessed to have all these great teachers this year. But, it really is all about the SUMMER! Look out Roaring Springs, Eagle Island HERE WE COME!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COOPER AND BAILEY!

Bailey and Cooper celebrated their 5th birthday today. Their actual birthday is tomorrow, but we decided to have the party on Memorial day! I can't believe my sweet little babies are 5 years old! In some ways it seems like yesterday, and in some ways it seems like I've had them forever! I sure love my little Bay and Coop. They have been so much fun and I just love their personalities. They make us laugh on a daily basis and there is never a dull moment. Happy Birthday Bailey and Cooper! We Love You!

The theme for this year's party was a "Water Party". We had a giant slide that kept the kids cool and wet. They had a blast swimming, sliding, jumping on the trampoline, and swinging! Here is Bailey going down the slide.
Mackenzie Blackburn taking a turn.

The girls tried to warm up on the blanket after the water slide.

This is the whole gang. All of Bailey and Cooper's friends who were at the party! It was a fun day and everyone had a good time celebrating.

Later that night we had a "family" party. This is the beach ball cake I made in keeping with the theme of the party.

Cute kids taking a picture with the cake.

It was a little windy, so we had to pretend to blow out the candle. Happy birthday to you.....

Cooper was excited. He got "Better, Batter, Baseball" from mom and dad.

Bailey got a Rapunzel Barbie and a Mermaid Barbie! It was a fun-filled day with family and friends. I think Bailey and Cooper had a good day and a happy Birthday!!!!
