August Pack Meeting at the Nampa Airport

We had the coolest Pack meeting this month! We went to the Nampa Airport and all the scouts and siblings got to take an airplane ride. The "Young Eagles" Program teaches and gets kids excited about becoming pilots. They offer free airplane rides, and the kids names get recorded in the official Young Eagles book in Minnesota. This was SO COOL!

Here one of the pilots is teaching, and educating the boys about the Young Eagles.
Everyone was so excited, that they had a hard time paying attention!

Ryann was one of the first kids to go up. Here she is with the pilot. She flew in a two seat plane. (Her and the pilot) They flew all around Lake Lowell and she got to steer for a while. She had a blast!

Here she is in the cock-pit before take-off.

This is the plane she flew in! It's tiny! You wouldn't catch me in this!

Here she is after landing safe and sound!

Next, was Tren's turn. Here he is in the cock-pit with the pilot before take-off. He also was in a two- seater and got to steer the plane!

All systems a-go! Ready for take-off!

Tren by the plane and his pilot! These pilot's were such nice guys!

Tren's plane all aluminum and one of the older planes there. It was pretty cool looking!

Bailey , Cooper, and Mark got to fly in a six passenger plane. They flew with Jeff Job and his daughter Brielle.

Here is Cooper before take-off!

Mark and the twins in front of their plane.

Cooper got to sit in the front seat! He was SO excited!

Bailey in the plane.

Cooper got to fly the plane!

Here is the whole gang!

The pilot is taking this picture, and Cooper is FLYING the plane! I guess, the plane started going down a little, and the pilot had to correct!

This was such a fun experience for the boys and all the kids!
