FIELD DAY!

At the end of the school year at Tren and Ryann's school, the PE teacher organizes a field day. The kids look forward to this all year. There are stations all over the field and the kids compete in various activities. This year the 6th grade students helped with all the stations. The kids had a blast and went to bed tonight very tired.

Tren and his best bud Braydon with their teacher Miss Cunningham. She has been such a great teacher for Tren. He has had the best year of school ever! I am so thankful for teachers like her who have such a huge impact on my kids. I know Tren will remember her always!

This is Ryann's class running the 50 ish yard dash. I have to brag about Ryann.... After she beat all the girls in the race, she raced against the winner of the boys. Oh yeah, she won!! I have the fastest kid in Mrs. Brooks 1st grade class! Watch out boys, she can catch you if she wants to......

Tren and Mrs. Cunningham

This station is a relay race. Here Ryann is showing off her fine tuned "balancing a soccer ball on a cone" skills!

Parachuting...what fun!

Getting ready for the gunny-sack race!

Tren and Braydon tried so hard not to fall during the three legged sack race.....

.....Oh well, Maybe next year!!
Here, Ryann's group is having a race to fill up the bucket with water. They loved this station because it was so hot outside and they got pretty wet!

This is Ryann and her best pal Madison!

Ryann and Madison sitting in the "field". What a good activity on field day!

Tren also did well in the 50ish yard dash. Him and his friend Sam were the fastest kids in Miss Cunningham's 3rd grade class. They kept racing to see who would win, but it was a tie every time! Those kids of mine are fast!

This was a fun day. I'm so glad I got to be there and see my kids having so much fun!

Angie and Sam's wedding in Spokane

Sam and Angie were married in the Spokane temple on May 9th, 2009. It was a fun but fast trip. We had a blast being with family and enjoying each others company. Sam and Angie were so cute...what a great couple!

Then and Now

These cute cousins have grown up together, known as "the three little boys". They have gotten into plenty of trouble(sorry again Phil...for the whole tent episode), but mostly they have been nothing but adorable. They have so much fun together, and I am so grateful that Tren has two cousins his age who all get along so well. They are 9 and 10 years old now, and it seems like yesterday that we bought them these cute little matching jammies at Costco!

Then..... I think Spencer was a little over a year, and Tren and Brandon were around 3-4 months. Tren was so chubby. I miss that sweet little baby!!

Now.....I can't believe how fast time flies by! They are all so big now!

Tren(9), Brandon(9), Spencer(10) CHEESY!!

The boys were having a blast "dancing" and wrestling with each other. We were at Sandi and Phil's house in Coeurd'Alene. Ryann makes several appearances in their video....this is pretty funny. We all were laughing so hard!

RYANN'S PIANO RECITAL

Ryann just had her very first Piano Recital. She was SO excited! She was so cute, she drew me a picture of what she wanted to wear and how she wanted her hair to look. The song she played was, "A Rainbow is A Smile Turned Upside Down." She played it perfectly! Ryann is such a sweet girl, and we were so proud of her for practicing so hard and doing so well!

Cooper and Bailey are our future piano players!

Papa Steve and Grandma Jody came to support Ryann. She is SO lucky to have such a great family!!

Marissa Pugmire is Ryann's Piano teacher. She does such a great job, and makes learning the piano FUN for Ryann! Thanks for all your hard work Marissa!! (and for the yummy cinnamon rolls)!

A VIDEO OF HER RECITAL SONG TO COME..........If I can figure it out!

Saturday Family Day

After all our soccer and baseball games we went to the Idaho Center in Nampa to a Boys and Girls Club Family day. The kids had a fun time riding horses, playing laser tag, climbing the rock wall and petting the animals in the petting zoo. There were also arts and crafts, a cake walk , and a reptile exhibit.

This is a sea turtle at the reptile exhibit. The kids also touched a giant python!

We had 6 out of the 11 cake walk positions and we still didn't win a cake!

Bailey did all the arts and crafts stations. Here she is frosting a sugar cookie. She also made a pet rock, a picture frame and a paper bag puppet.

This is Ryann and Lexy on the rock wall.Tren on the rock wall.

In this game the kids all had to work together to walk. They all moved their right foot at the same time, and then the left.... they did really good!

They absolutely loved the petting zoo! Here Ryann and Bailey are petting the sheep and baby goats.

Ryann, Lexy and Tren acting like animals.

Bailey and a sheep. Her favorite was this little white goat.

The kids loved this Alpaca. It was so soft and friendly!

Coopie hugging the alpaca!

All the kids and the Zebra. They couldn't pet him because he bites!

Tren and Cooper both rode the "big" horse. All the rest were miniature horses.

Ryann LOVED this little white horse! She talked about him the rest of the day. Bailey also loved riding this little horse. They all wanted to ride again, but the line was too long.

We were all exhausted at the end of the day, but we had a great time. We went straight to Wendy's and cashed in our free Frosty coupons!!
