Christmas Eve 2009

"Noel" gets changed quite often: The all time favorite is LEON. We also like LONE, LENO, ONLE (pronounced; only).....

We had our big Christmas dinner on Christmas eve. Bob and Trudy, Jeremy, Spencer, and Pookie were all here to celebrate!

I told all the kids to "show me" how excited they were that it was Christmas eve. Here is what I got!

We found a fun website called "Norad tracks Santa" It shows where in the world Santa is at that very moment on Christmas Eve. It even tells when he enters the state you live in. The kids love to watch this and hurry to get to bed when he is getting close!

Here is Bob, reading the Nativity Story from the Bible. We have a family tradition every Christmas Eve where the kids act out the Nativity story, while someone reads it from the scriptures.

Here is Joseph(Spencer), A wiseman(Cooper), and an angel(Ryann). Cooper wouldn't be Joseph like we wanted him to be. He insisted that he be a wiseman. Luckily, Spencer agreed to be Joseph!

Tren was the shepard. He had a faithful sheep named Pookie!

Bailey was so sweet. She got to be Mary and hold the baby Jesus. She was so serious and cute!

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord!"

The kids get to open one present every Christmas eve. It is ALWAYS pajamas....But still this year they were saying, "I wonder what our present is?" Maybe one day they will figure it out! Until then, I LOVE the sweet innocence and Magic that Christmas brings!

Everyone modeling their new PJ's!

All the kids and Papa!

Grandma and Bailey!

Ryann and Spencer being WIERD!

PAPA JIM!!!

The star sheep in the program, got to wear a bow for a while. Dosen't he look delighted!?

Here we are playing a game of "Knock" before bed.

Mark and Pookie!

Every Christmas Eve, Mark puts a penny on all the kids door handles. If the penny is on the floor in the morning we know they tried to peek at the presents! So far, no-one has dared to see what would happen.....

The kids left out cookies and milk for Santa, and carrots for his Reindeer!

Christmas Cookies with the Grandmas!!

Every year the kid's Grandmas' have a special day to make Christmas cookies with the Grandkids! My kids look forward to this so much. What fun Grandmas' they have!!!!

We love the snow!

Every year my kids can't wait for it to snow! They get so excited to build snowmen and forts! I am glad that they are all old enough to put on their own snow clothes!!

Tren and his snow man! He has Hershey kisses for the eyes and nose, and M& M's for the mouth! Of course he is a wearing a Bronco hat!

Ryann, Lexy and Bailey built a snow man too! Theirs has bark for the eyes and mouth and a carrot nose! Isn't he cute!!!

Three cute girls with their snow man. Our neighbor, Jonathan, helped them out by putting the three layers together! I guess the giant snowball's were too heavy!

This is the first snow of the season! Cooper was SO stinkin cute. He shoveled the driveway all by himself! It took him almost an hour! What a nice guy I have!!

Bailey in full snow gear!

Cute Cooper!

Santa, Santa, and More Santa

We saw Santa 3 times this year! We went to the mall to see him and he also made an appearance at our Ward Christmas Party, and at Scot and Jenn's Ward Party!

Ryann and Bailey with Santa at our Ward party!
Here we are waiting for Santa at the mall. We waited FOREVER! But it was totally worth it. We were the 2nd people in line. Ryann and Cooper waited patiently (Yeah right)!

Tren and Bailey also waited so patiently...(Yeah Right)!

These twins are at such a CUTE age! This was such a fun Christmas with them. I wish they could stay 5 forever!!! They were so excited to see Santa. Cooper's shirt says, "Dear Santa, I was framed!" He kept asking me, "what does framed mean?"

Bailey asked Santa for a "American" doll, and a Nintendo DS!

Tren asked Santa for a Guitar and a Nerf gun.

We had a great time at Scot and Jenn's with their family and Rod and his kids!
Here are a few of the kids getting ready to open some presents!

Pam and her kids, and Shannon came over to our house for a Christmas party!
Aren't we lovely?

Here are all the kids! We had such a fun time visiting, eating, playing games, and hanging out with all of our friends this holiday season. The Pugmires also came over to play during the holidays, however we got so busy eating, and playing games noone took any pictures! We played a fun game called "Curses"
